Base Chips are a currency related to the Matrices gacha system and acts as an equivalent of black gold for the matrix store, usable for purchasing matrices.
Every time a Proof of purchase is used to obtain a matrix in the Special Orders, the player will be given 1 Base Chip, which can be used to purchase matrix boxes from the matrix store, including a random chip of the chosen name.
Correspondingly, upon using a Special voucher in a limited matrix gacha will award an overclocking chip, which can be used for buying matrices featured in the banner, however after the event ends, leftover overclocking chips will also be converted into Base Chips.
Base Chips can be spent in the Matrix Store.
